Hi there, and welcome to River Folk Rabbitry — I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Amber, and I’m the heart behind this small rabbitry, where I raise Lionhead rabbits with care, intention, and a whole lot of love. What started as a deep admiration for these fluffy little personalities has grown into a mission: to help more families experience the joy of having a rabbit that’s truly a companion not just a pet in a cage.
I didn’t grow up with rabbits, but once I discovered how curious, affectionate, and deeply unique rabbits can be, I was hooked! I also saw firsthand how misunderstood rabbit care often is. So many well-meaning people are handed outdated advice or told they need to choose between a sterile cage or a Pinterest-worthy bunny room. But the truth lies somewhere in the middle and that’s where River Folk Rabbitry comes in.
